Orders must be received by 1:00PM for same day delivery in the recipients time zone.
The following is an outline of the steps your order goes through after your purchase.
1) The order prints in our main office and is processed.
2) We identify our most reputable member FTD florist in the recipient's area.
3) We send the order to our member florist by way of FTD Mercury networking technologies.
4) We get a confirmation notice that the order has indeed printed at our local member florist.
5) We then make a phone call (if the order is time sensitive) to our member florist to ensure that they are aware of the order.
6) We then make another phone call to our member florist toward the end of the day to get a confirmation of delivery.
7) We then send our customer a notification by way of email that delivery was made.
If our service does not live up to expected expectations, please feel free to make us aware of your disappointment as we will take the necessary steps to better the situation.

Blooms and Things Florist is dedicated to delivering your floral and gift orders in a timely manner. The actual time and date your order is delivered is affected by the time of day your order is placed, the method of delivery or shipping you select, weather conditions, and whether or not the destination is a remote location. Our delivery policies explain the delivery options available to you and how we process orders.

Hospital Deliveries

Please consider your order delivered on the day you requested. We send out final delivery confirmation usually within 24 hours after your flowers have been delivered. This 24 hour span of time is to allow all delivering florists to report to us in a reasonable amount of time.
Keep in mind, that sometimes it may appear that an order is late, or not delivered, but in reality delivery was attempted. In these cases, the recipient was probably not home or neighbors were not available to accept the order. Please reflect on that possibility as every order placed thru our site is set in motion to be delivered on the day requested. If it was not delivered, then something unforeseen obstructed that motion. If we have any difficulties with your order that are foreseeable, we will contact you by telephone and/or e-mail.
Please keep in mind that we are only able to deliver hospital flowers as far as the nurses station and/or check-in desk. We are not responsible if the delivery does not get from the nurses station to the recipients room in a timely manner. If a delivery to a hospital room appears undelivered, it is most likely in the flower area of the hospital awaiting a nurse to break away from her many duties.

When the Recipient is not home |

1) The florist may choose to leave the arrangement with a neighbor and attach a note to the recipient's door stating who accepted the arrangement on their behalf.
2) Leave a note on the recipient's door asking the recipient to call the florist's shop and arrange a convenient time for re-delivery.
3) Call the recipient first to arrange a delivery time. If the recipient is at work all day, we suggest sending the arrangement to the workplace. |

Gift Items Shipped Directly |

Several of our gift items are shipped directly through Federal Express, Airborne, or UPS. At this time, we are unable to ship to PO boxes, hotels, or hospitals. Cut-off times for same-day shipment and available shipping options are clearly marked on the blowup screen for each item. The date your order will be received will depend on the shipping date and the shipping method you select. Items shipped UPS Ground can take 3 to 7 business days, and delivery dates are not guaranteed. Items shipped Overnight or 2-Day are guaranteed to be delivered within that period. Please note that the guaranteed shipping options are based on business days, so an order shipped on a Friday by FedEx 2-Day would be delivered on the following Tuesday. We can not ship to Canadian addresses at this time. |

Due to various seasonal and regional conditions, availability of some flowers may be very limited in certain areas. Also, specific flower varieties or colors may not be available for delivery on a specified day. Therefore, it is possible that the exact bouquet pictured or requested may not be available for delivery. |
